Taghmon National School aims to promote the full and harmonious development of all aspects of the child; intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual.
The school is set on a site across the road from the Church of the Assumption Taghmon with plenty of space for recreation and physical activities. The children are presented with a wide variety of activities in the school, such as Dancing, tennis, Gaelic games, Art lessons, STEM activities with Lego and iPads, Art lessons and other sports.
Taghmon National school has a staff of 9 which includes mainstream teachers, special education teachers, special needs assistants and a part time school secretary.
